Boundary Street Markets' Book Find #1: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban | LIFE
On Friday night I went with some friends to the Boundary Street Markets in West End.
I had a great time. There were so many different food and goods stalls I didn't know where to look half the time! I wish I took photos of it, but unfortunately, the camera on my phone was playing up. Notably, there was a used book section and I only bought two books (I exercised so much restraint)!
The first book I bought, pictured here, was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling. I bought it to replace my copy which is really battered and falling to bits, (which, is a great excuse to reread it)! After Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, it's one of my favourite novels in the series. Azkaban offered so much potential for Harry to escape the dreariness and nastiness of the Dursley's and for him to have the childhood his parents would have wanted for him, to live in a warm and loving home. Ugh, I still have so many feelings about this.
My Hogwarts journal (that I'm much too scared to actually use), also pictured, was a present I received a few years ago from my lovely friend, Alex. The wands were given to me by another friend who was doing some decluttering. They were part of a limited edition compendium of posters and postcards and I still haven't gotten over how cool it all is!
Happy reading!
